BWC Resources

Injured Workers

Are you an injured worker looking to get back to work and back to life?

The Bureau of Workers' Compensation wants that for you, too. So, here are some resources that can help.

As BWC wants the same thing as you, to get you back to work and back to life as quickly and as safely as possible, BWC encourages you to do business online.

To do that, you’ll need to create a BWC e-account. You’ll find the link on the upper, right-hand side of BWC’s home page.

Don’t forget to include your email address. Email is the quickest and most efficient way to communicate with BWC. Don’t worry - all contact information is considered confidential and will not be shared.

What is vocational rehabilitation and why should I volunteer for the program?

Vocational rehabilitation is an individualized, face-to-face, return-to-work program to assist injured workers, who without specialized services beyond standard medical treatment, would be unlikely to return to work or stay at work in a timely, safe and productive manner.  It’s a program for injured workers who have a lost-time claim and restrictions from that claim which create barriers towards their proposed job goal.
